Annette Sykes held an artist talk at the Galleries at LynnArts this past Thursday. This was part of her solo exhibition “Breathing Brushstrokes: A Journey Through Light and Shadow” that runs May 7-11. The exhibition features works from her long-running weekly drawing group at GALA and her “Antique Hunting with Bob” series. During this talk Annette spoke about her process, how she uses art as meditation, and more about her creative process and works.

GALA has begun doing pop-ups with various artists throughout the year in the Community Gallery, easily seen from the street. For more information please visit galleriesatlynnarts.org.
