The 235th birthday of the US Coast Guard was celebrated with a small ceremony and flag raising earlier today. The Lynn-Swmpscott Veterans’ Services Dept. and City of Lynn invited the community down to celebrate this branch of the military, which has been involved in every war since its inception.
