LCTV News | EmpowHER Night | August 7, 2025

On August 7, 2025 Centerboard held their EmpowHER Night Fundraiser for the We Rise Program. This impactful evening featured cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, silent auction, and stories of resilience and hope. We Rise provides critical resources, support, and safe pathways for young women and men who have experienced or are at risk of sexual exploitation and trafficking.

During the event Centerboard announced the “Rise Up to the Match” campaign, to help make up for federal funding cuts of $300,000. An anonymous donor pledged a $25,000 match, and Centerboard is asking the community to help reach that goal.
