Centerboard’s We Rise Program were our guests on this week’s first Lowdown. Program Director Sway Harrison & Development Director Machel Piper joined Dani to discuss their upcoming fundraiser and what the We Rise Program does. EmpowHER Night will take place on August 7 from 6-8:30pm at the Palette Function Room (16 City Hall Sq). This impactful evening will feature handcrafted cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, a silent auction, and powerful stories of resilience and hope. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with advocates, survivors, and community leaders who are shaping a future free from exploitation.
