The Galleries at LynnArts (GALA) were our guests on this edition of the Lowdown to talk about their upcoming “Hispanic Excellence Exhibit”. Annette Sykes (Director/Founder) & Michelle Guzman (Exhibit curator/Board member) joined us to talk about how they will be highlighting local Hispanic art during Hispanic Heritage Month.

This is a multimedia exhibit with submissions that aim to embrace the culture of the artists or show something about themselves as a Latino/Lainta. The opening reception will be held on Sept. 15th at 5:30pm with live music and performances, along with food.The exhibit will run from Sept. 9 – Oct. 28th during gallery hours.
