LCTV News Interview | Lynn Vets Council: 2026 N.S. Veterans & First Responders Parade | May 30, 2025

The Lynn Veterans Council joined us on this week’s edition of the Lynn Lowdown. President Charlie Griffin, Vice President Wayne Johnson, and auxiliary member Katie DiVirgilio joined us to talk about 2026’s North Shore Veterans & First Responders Parade. Restarted 2 years ago, the mission of the Veterans Council is to take care of the veterans in Lynn (and North Shore) by providing resources, honoring them with events throughout the year, and more. The parade happening September 2026 is their biggest project, with organizing and fundraising efforts already underway. Going from North Shore Community College the parade will weave through the city to Manning Field where there will be a festival for families to enjoy.
