This week on the LCTV News we reported on the FY’24 budget being released, launch of a rat abatement program, individuals selected for recognition, local sports, and more news from the week. We also show recaps of last week’s graduations, the oath of office for First Justice Hon. Ina Howard-Hogan, & more events from around the city.

The Veterans Appreciation Day at the GAR Museum on June 24th was the topic of this edition of the Lynn Lowdown. Andrea Gayle-Bennett (2nd Jr Vice Commander, Dept of MA / DAV) & Wendy Joseph (Curator, GAR Hall & Museum) joined us to talk about the event and what will be there. The public is invited down to the Grand Army of The Republic Hall & Museum for a day of raffles, music, food, swag giveaways and more while showing our appreciation for Lynn’s Veterans.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 24th from 2-5pm at the GAR on Andrew St. in Downtown Lynn. For more info please visit garlynn.org.
