LCTV News | Kayaking on Sluice Pond (August 6, 2022)

The North Shore Maritime Center hosted a kayaking event at Sluice Pond this past Saturday, August 6th. The community was able to sign up to learn how to kayak & waterboard before taking a short trek out onto Sluice. The mission of the NSMC is to make sure that the community has access to water and watersports ”through access to new opportunities, active engagement, and a redefining of the representation in water sports and maritime education.”
