We report on the Gov. Healey’s new budget, a new Workforce Development Plan for Lynn, NAGLY Lynn’s move, local sports, and more news from the week on this week’s edition of the LCTV News. We also show recaps of events from the past week including the Dominican Republic Independence Day Celebration.
The REAL Program were our guests this week on the Lynn Lowdown. REAL is an acronym that stands for Reading and Educational Assistance for Learning, and their mission is “to improve literacy we need to help people get access to good food, warmth, instruction, enrichment, and community”. Jan Plourde (Executive Director, Founder) joined us to talk about the work REAL does for the community, such as after-school programs throughout the week and the installation of Little Free Libraries around the city.
