LCTV News | March 8, 2024 – Full broadcast
This week on LCTV News we cover some of the big headlines of the past week including the VA signing a lease to stay in Lynn, downtown parking survey, Gov. Healey’s plan to end veteran homelessness, and more big news from this past week. We also show recaps of the reading across America event at Drewitcz, and other events from over the last week. We had two Lowdowns this week, the first with the Lynn Disability Network and second with the Mass Senior Action Council. On the first Lynn Lowdown we chat with the Lynn Disability Network about their mission to foster an inclusive community for all in Lynn. The Network holds events throughout the year to promote inclusivity for the disabled community, create spaces for them to interact, and provide resources. The Mass Senior Action Council joined us for the second edition of the Lynn Lowdown. Board Members Debbie Craig, Griceldis Guaramato, & Ruth Barrera all joined us to talk about their recent visit to the State House for Elder Lobby Day and more.
