This week on LCTV News we cover some of the big headlines of the past week including the Briarcliff education Center named after Virginia Barton, nominations open for Local Black Excellence Awards, LPS playoff updates, and more big news from this past week. We also show recaps of the Centerboard Speakeasy, Festival of Trees, and more from around Lynn.

On the first edition of the Lynn Lowdown we discuss the City of Lynn and Raw Art Works being awarded a Bloomberg Asphalt Art Initiative grant. Deputy Director Mariah Neurotic and Sr. Manager of Strategic Growth & Partnerships Paul Hurteau from RAW were joined by City of Lynn Arts & Culture Planner LaCrecia Thomson to discuss this grant from Bloomberg, which is only awarded to 10 cities in North America every year.

Raw Art Works will work to create, design, and install a mural in front of RAW. Students from RAW will be involved with and compensated by this grant initiative. The City of Lynn will work with RAW to improve Central Square through this grant, which is also set to improve safety and more.
If you have any questions please visit rawartworks.org or email admin@rawartworks.org.
