Lynn Hazards Mitigation Plan – Final public meeting | January 5, 2022
The City of Lynn held their final public meeting on the city’s Hazards Mitigation Plan virtually on January 5, 2022. The City of Lynn’s Principal Planner Aaron Clausen was joined by Van Du of the MAPC to present the plan and take questions. The Lynn HMP was last updated in 2016, and by updating the plan, the City will better position itself to effectively respond to natural disasters and maintain eligibility for funding through the FEMA to implement hazard mitigation projects. The draft plan is now available and the plan project team has opened a 10-day comment period ending January 17, 2022. The draft plan is currently available for public review, along with pubic meeting presentations. To view them visit https://lynnincommon.com/lynn-hazard-mitigation-plan.
