Lynn Interim Commuter Rail Station Groundbreaking | February 6, 2024
On February 6, 2024 the MBTA held a groundbreaking event and commuter rail ride along at the Lynn Interim Station on Ellis Street. Lt. Governor Driscoll, MBTA leadership, Lynn’s state delegation, and many more were on hand to celebrate the accelerated completion of the interim station. This station was opened on December 18, 2024, which was 9 months ahead of schedule and resumed commuter rail service to Lynn.
