2 arrests made in connection with Sept. 13th shooting on Commercial Street
The Lynn Police Department would like to announce the arrests of two individuals in connection with a September 13th shooting that occurred on Commercial Street in our city.
This morning, Lynn Police Gang Unit Detectives arrested Mark Paliy, 21 of Lynn, on a warrant charging him with
- Defacing a Firearm of its Serial Number
- Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
Anthony Gutierrez, 23 of Lynn, was later arrested in Salem on a warrant charging:
- Assault Dangerous Weapon with Intent to Murder
- Carrying a Firearm Without a License
- Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building
- Illegal Possession of Ammunition
The Lynn Police Department would like to thank the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section and the Salem Police Department for their assistance during the investigation.
