The Galleries at LynnArts currently has 2 calls for art open, for their shows “Wicked Whimsy & Wonder” & “Celebrate Latinx Heritage & Innovation” this fall. Both shows run from September 13th through October 26th, with opening receptions in early September. Below is information for both calls for art, from GALA:

Wicked Whimsy & Wonder

Opening reception: Friday, September 13 from 6-8pm

We invite artists to explore the realms where imagination knows no bounds. “Wicked Wonder & Whimsy” seeks to showcase artworks that delve into the fantastical, the supernatural, and the surreal through various mediums including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. From whimsical creatures to eerie landscapes, mystical realms to uncanny beings, this exhibition celebrates the enchanting and the bizarre.

Artists may submit up to 3 artworks for consideration. Artworks should embody themes of magic, whimsy, surrealism, or the supernatural. All visual art mediums are welcome, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media.

Celebrate Latinx Heritage & Innovation

Opening reception: Saturday, September 14 from 6-8pm

We invite you to be part of a stunning exhibit that celebrates the vibrant Latinx culture and heritage. We’re looking for captivating artwork that embodies your traditions, innovations, and perspectives. This is your chance to showcase the incredible diversity and creativity of the Latinx community!
