“Multi-Generational Perspectives on the Black Experience”: A Panel Discussion | February 20, 2024
On Tuesday, February 20, 2024 the City of Lynn held a Black History Month panel at the Lynn Auditorium. The topic of the discussion was “Multi-Generational Perspectives on the Black Experience” which featured local Black leaders and change-makers sharing their stories, highlight their challenges and successes, overcoming of obstacles, and share their lessons to inspire community members across generations in Lynn and beyond.
The panel was moderated by Lynn Museum Executive Director Doneeca Thurston-Chavez. Panelists included Darrell Murkinson, Mary Joyner, Antonio Anderson, Cleo Hereford, Zainab Lawal (Youth from Girl’s Inc), & Divine Egbuta (Youth from Boys & Girls Club).
