LCTV News | Essex County Sheriff’s Dept’s STAR Office Open House | May 14, 2025
Yesterday the Essex County Sheriff’s Department held an open house for their new STAR Office on Central Ave in Downtown Lynn. STAR stands for Supporting Transition and Re-entry, and the program aims to reduce the number those that return to jail or continue committing crimes. There are programs and courses available to address substance abuse, mental health, and other programs as well as vocational training and more.
