Lynn Mental Health Committee Meeting – February 2026

From the Lynn Mental Health Committee: Due to the increasing need for mental health support among the youth, this establishment of a Youth-Led Mental Health Team can provide mental health assistance and support within the community. With this team we aim to reduce stigma surrounding mental health, improve the access for resources for all communities, and promote both a culture of mental health awareness and well-being.
The purpose of the Lynn Youth Led Mental Health Committee is 4 main things:
- Provide peer support by creating a place where youth can support each other through shared experiences
- Raise awareness and destigmatize mental health through events and workshops
- Offer resources to youth through workshops and informational materials
- Advocate for policy changes to improve mental health services and support for youth

This meeting will finalize the date, time and location for an upcoming event – as well as have us plan for future events.
Event Description: Join the Lynn Youth Led Mental Health Committee for a relaxing evening at our free arts and craft night. We will have clay sculpting, bracelet making, and painting stations. It will be a safe space for attendees to decompress as we try to raise awareness around mental health.We will also be handing out a limited amount of free goodie bags!
