Mass Measures Study Seeks Participants
From Lynn Public Health Department: With funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (DPH) is conducting a study to better understand exposure to environmental chemicals among Massachusetts residents and help inform efforts to protect public health.
Environmental chemicals can enter our bodies through the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe. By participating, you can learn more about your own potential exposures while helping DPH better understand environmental exposures across Massachusetts. Massachusetts residents age 5 and older are eligible to participate. Participants will provide blood and urine samples, answer a brief questionnaire, and receive their individual results.
The study team will be in Lynn on June 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and currently has open appointments for additional participants.
If you are interested in learning more or signing up to participate on this date, please contact the study team at 866-626-4224 or MassMeasures@mass.gov.
