
In preparation for the Third of July Fireworks Celebration, the City of Lynn has announced several street closures and parking restrictions. Please seek alternate routes during this time. Details are as follows:
- Parking restrictions on Lynn Shore Drive will go into effect from 3pm-11pm
- Lynn Shore Drive will be closed to vehicle access from approx. 6pm-11pm
- There will be no parking on Prescott Road (both sides) and Cherry Street (even number side)
- Limited handicap parking will be made available to residents on Lynn Shore Drive between King’s Beach Road and Prescott Road. Please arrive before 6pm
Additionally, for the concert and fireworks celebration:
- The rain date for the Fireworks Celebration is July 5th
- Food will not be served once the fireworks show ends
- Please inform minors of the Lynn Police Department tent located at Red Rock Park, in case of emergency
- A lost and found station, managed by Lynn Fire Department, Lynn Police, and the State Police will be available at Red Rock Park
- Please note that alcohol, marijuana, fireworks, and drones are prohibited. State Police may conduct searches freely on Department of Conservation & Recreation DCR) property.

The Friends of Lynn and Nahant Beach’s annual series of free public concerts at Red Rock Park overlooking Lynn Beach kicks off on July 3rd!
The first concert is July 3 from 7-9 PM featuring The Dirty Floorboards, which will be followed by the Lynn Fireworks. The remaining concerts will be held on Thursdays from 6-8 PM until August 13.
