From the City of Lynn: Mayor Jared C. Nicholson will be hosting Lynnside Out for the fifth consecutive year, a citywide festival with the tagline “Bringing City Hall to You”! This event will turn City Hall “Lynnside Out” in an effort to make municipal resources more accessible, approachable, and visible for residents. The event will take place at Frederick Douglass Memorial Park and the grounds of the Lynn Museum, on Saturday, Sept.12 from 11 a.m to 3 p.m.
Free food from local Lynn favorites—including Thai Café, La Copa, Kokomma Nigerian, and D’Empanadas—will be paired with family-friendly activities such as face painting, spray tattoos, and a bounce house, alongside live performances from a diverse lineup of local entertainers. More than a dozen City departments will also be available to discuss the resources and services they provide and share current and upcoming initiatives and projects that benefit the City and are most impactful to residents.
“We’re thrilled to host Lynnside Out again this year after seeing such a positive reception since its inception,” said Nicholson. “This festival is to showcase that City Hall is a place for everyone and we want our residents to know that all our departments and our office are always available for any support and assistance they may be seeking. Lynnside Out is a great way to connect residents with the initiatives that we are working on at City Hall and to keep them engaged with ongoing projects that require their input to be successful.”

- Veterans Services Office
Leftfield (representing the Pickering Middle School Building Project), the New American Association of Massachusetts, MassHIRE, the Lynn Community Health Center, and the Massachusetts Department of Children & Families are among the organizations that will be present to connect residents with information and resources. In addition, LynnLab will host activities, including a STEM activity for youth.
