City seeking public input on Vision for Lynn

Support LCTV with your membership

The City of Lynn is working to write its first comprehensive plan, Vision Lynn. The City heard from over 900 people in their kickoff survey about what matters to them, and used this input to draft vision statements for the community. Now, they’re asking for your help to fill out the survey and let them know if they are on track.

Please share the survey out with your networks, so that the City can hear from as many people as possible. The survey is in English or Spanish, with more languages coming shortly.

In addition to this survey:

  • They are on Instagram @VisionLynn and would love a follow or a repost!
  • The Planning Department shares monthly updates over email in English or Spanish. Sign up to get on their list.
  • The website for this project is www.lynnincommon.com/vision-lynn. You can check back for updates or learn about other Planning projects on that site.
  • The City of Lynn is hoping to collaborate with community groups and nonprofits throughout the year on Vision Lynn. If you’re interested in working together, please email me at Lauren.Drago@LynnMA.gov.

What is Vision Lynn?

A comprehensive plan, sometimes referred to as a master plan, is a document that captures the vision, values, and goals of our community and outlines the development and infrastructure we will need to achieve them. Vision Lynn will become a guiding document for other work City staff and elected officials do, as well as an important communication tool that will tell outsiders who we are and what we want for Lynn in terms of housing, economic development, climate resilience, and more.
