APRIL IS EARTH MONTH
Join the City of Lynn in celebrating our planet and working together to take action to protect our local environment.
Submit a photo of you doing one of the actions below or a statement on how you care for the planet to be shared with the community. Participants will receive an official Earth Month certificate from Mayor Nicholson.
- Utilize the City’s Curbside Textile Waste Program or Donation Bins
- Join or volunteer at a community garden
- Volunteer at a City park clean-up
- Clean a storm drain
- Read a book on sustainability
- Clean up litter
- Sign up for a Black Earth Compost with the City or show us how you compost
- Take a walk or ride a bike
- Properly sort your recycling bin
- Or any green effort of your preference!
Submissions can be shared via the City of Lynn’s social media pages or via email at Valerie.Vong@lynnma.gov.

Acompañe a la Ciudad de Lynn a celebrar nuestro planeta y trabajar juntos para tomar acción en la protección de nuestro medio ambiente local.
Envíe una foto suya haciendo una de las actividades siguientes o una declaración por escrito de cómo usted cuida el planeta para su publicación. Los participantes recibirán un certificado oficial del Día de la Tierra de manos del Alcalde Nicholson.
- Utilice el Programa de Residuos Textiles en la Acera o los Contenedores de Donación
- Acompañe o sea voluntario en un jardín comunitario
- Hágase voluntario en la limpieza de un parque de la Ciudad
- Limpie un desagüe de lluvia
- Lea un libro sobre sostenibilidad del medio ambiente
- Limpie la basura
- Regístrese para hacer Compostaje de Tierra Negra con la Ciudad o muéstrenos cómo lo hace
- Haga una caminata o un paseo en bicicleta
- Ordene correctamente su contenedor de reciclaje
