Concerned Citizens of Lynn is continuing their annual tradition of collecting toys, clothes, and more for families in need during the holiday season.
The Concerned Citizens of Lynn are a non-profit, community-based organization with the aim to make Lynn “a better, safer and happier place” with their network of volunteers. They organize community events, donation drives, provide civic engagement, & more throughout the year.
However, their biggest project is their annual Toy & Clothing Drive. Last year CCOL wrapped and personally delivered over 6,000 gifts, from toys to food. This year they plan on helping more families, and are asking for donations to help make this possible. The CCOL are not only looking for new, unwrapped toys. Concerned Citizens has also received requests for food, toiletries, new warm pajamas, hats, & gloves.
The Concerned Citizens of Lynn do not have a cut off age, with president Lisa Pressman saying, “We never felt it would be fair if for example a 16 year old gets to see their younger siblings with toys and they get nothing. So we go out of our way to include all.”
