Connor’s Kindness Project Brings Kindness Movement to Lincoln-Thomson Elementary in Lynn

Kindness was in full bloom last week at Lincoln-Thomson Elementary School as Connor’s Kindness Project (CKP) introduced its inspiring Kids Kindness Club program to the Lynn school community. Executive Director Sharon Marrama, along with teen volunteers Sophie Kennison and Bella Giacobbi, was warmly welcomed by Principal Mary Kinahan for an uplifting, school-wide assembly that had students buzzing with excitement.
The visit held a special connection for teen leader Sophie Kennison, whose aunt, Sheila Curry, LICSW and school clinician, is a beloved part of the Lincoln-Thomson community. With over 220 students eagerly taking CKP’s Pledge of Kindness, the school is now officially part of a growing movement committed to compassion and community. Each student will complete 20 acts of kindness to earn a Certificate of Kindness and the much-loved “Kindness is My Superpower” sticker.
The assembly was filled with pure joy. Smiles, laughter, and enthusiastic participation lit up the room as students embraced the message of kindness, inclusion, and giving back. The highlight of the event came when the entire school, teachers included, stood together to sing CKP’s Kindness Song, creating a moving moment of unity and warmth.
“This was one of those days that reminds us why we do this work,” said Sharon Marrama. “The energy, the heart, and the sense of community were unforgettable.”
Lincoln-Thomson has already committed to continuing the Kids Kindness Club into the next school year, with CKP scheduled to return in the fall to keep the kindness movement in motion.
Connor’s Kindness Project would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Mabel Louise Riley Foundation for generously sponsoring this program at Lincoln-Thomson and making this special day possible.
