The Lynn Public Schools Facebook page has also posted ceremonies.

Limited COVID-19 testing available at Ingalls School this Saturday

  1. Do you have symptoms of COVID-19 or been in close contact with someone with symptoms?
  2. Are you 15 years of age or older?
  3. Are you a resident of Lynn?

If you answered yes to all 3 of these questions above and are interested in being tested for COVID-19, please note the following:

The City of Lynn in partnership with Lynn Community Health Center, North Shore Medical Center, and North Shore Physicians Group is offering COVID-19 testing on Saturday, June 20th, from 9AM-12PM at Ingalls School.

200 tests will be completed on a first come, first serve basis.

You do not need to be a Lynn Community Health Center or North Shore Physician Group patient to be screened. You will not be asked about your immigration status and you do not have to have health insurance.

If you develop emergency warning signs of COVID-19 (trouble breathing, pain or chest chest pressure, confusion or inability to arouse, bluish lips & face), get medical attention immediately or call 911.

A reminder that tonight from 7:30-9pm Housing Lynn will host a virtual panel discussion on the future of residential development in Lynn.

You can register on Zoom at mapc.ma/housing-lynn-panel-reg. We will also be airing this LIVE on tv (Comcast: 22 / Verizon: 37) & online (click here).

Alliance for Community Media statement on social & racial justice

Lynn Community Television is a proud member of the ACM. Their values & many of their statements mentioned below reflect ours, and as such we felt the need to share this message.

Click to visit their website

The Alliance for Community Media (ACM) has a long history of organizing to empower individuals, organizations, and communities to address significant issues in the pursuit of justice, liberty, and equity. The ACM’s mission and values are based on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and in particular the First Amendment.

The Alliance for Community Media’s vision is that all communities have the resources, ability and right to express themselves, create community dialogue and engage in civic life through local media. Our guiding principles are to promote free speech, expand civic engagement through local media, and ensure the people can seek redress of their grievances.
The power of witness is clear. When the video cameras are rolling, unedited, and unfiltered, the truth finds the light of day. This is the fundamental concept of public access and community media: to empower our community voices with the power of media to tell their story their way.
Our fight against injustice includes standing together against racism, hate, police brutality, and systemic oppression in our communities. We stand in solidarity with the many people and organizations that condemn structural, implicit and explicit racism that leads to the denial of human and constitutional rights. We cannot be silent, we haven’t been silent and when those who are not the victims of these injustices do not speak they empower the perpetrators of injustice to act with impunity.
Let us work together to make the recent slayings the turning point to move to a more understanding, compassionate, and welcoming community that supports access, equity, and accountability, free from prejudice, malice, and hate.
