Coco Alinsug*
Ward 3 Lynn City Councilor Coco Alinsug is the first Filipino-American City Councilor elected in New England and the first out LGBTQ member on the Lynn City Council. He has received recognition both nationally and internationally for his tireless work in the fields of research and public health. Elected in 2021, Coco immediately rolled up his sleeves and worked nonstop for Lynn. Coco is a polyglot (fluent in many languages) and a scholar in an Asian Scholarship Program. He is also an organizer of various events for the Filipino and Asian American, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in Massachusetts.

As the daughter of Haitian/Dominican immigrants, Natasha knows the importance of hard work and giving back. Natasha was the first in her family to go to college. She earned her B.A. from Regis College in Western MA with a major in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. She then continued her education by earning her J.D from New England School of Law. Natasha is excited to be elected as the first Afro-Latina Ward 4 City Councilor. She has lived with her husband Tarik in Lynn for over 26 years and is the proud mother of five children ages 18-27. Natasha is committed to being an advocate in the community and will do her best to bring your voice to the Lynn City Council so together we can improve the lives of everyone that lives in Ward 4.

Fred Hogan*
I am the Present Ward 6 Lynn City Councilor. Running for my 4th Term. I Am a proud father of 4 amazing children. Randy, Lashaunda, Miranda and Freddy Jr. and the Husband of Kito Hogan 33 years of Marriage. Ward 6 has amazing things happening. The New Lynn Harbor park also McManus complex at Lynn Tech opening in 2025. We recently brought the Fountain back to the Lynn Commons. The Future is bright in Lynn and Ward 6.

Paul Gouthro
Paul Gouthro is now fully retired after forty years at GE Aerospace and four years as an active duty US Marine. He is pursuing the Ward One City Council seat again to serve the residents in Ward One and the City of Lynn. Born and raised in Roxbury and Dorchester, he has lived in Lynn for more than forty years and he and his wife Patty have raised their daughters here. Paul attended Don Bosco Technical High School in downtown Boston and was awarded an academic scholarship to Boston College and the Navy ROTC scholarship to Holy Cross. Paul studied Mechanical Engineering at night at Merrimack College. Paul is a change agent through and through. He has the courage to ask tough questions, and is always inclusive of others. Paul looks forward to utilizing his continuous improvement skills learned and honed at GE Aerospace to help the City of Lynn move forward into the future as an elected official.

Cardeliz Paez is a proud Lynn native and the daughter of Dominican immigrants, running to be the next Ward 5 City Councilor. She grew up in government-assisted housing and now lives in Pine Hill, deeply rooted in the community that shaped her. A graduate of programs like RAW, Girls Inc., and KIPP, Cardeliz brings experience from working locally in affordable housing and economic development, as well as studying and working abroad. Her campaign focuses on uplifting downtown, advancing environmental justice, expanding affordable housing, and building community power through co-governance. She is committed to ensuring that Lynn’s growth reflects the voices and needs of its longtime residents.

Liliana Patino
Liliana Patino, a seasoned mental health clinician and community organizer. She has dedicated her career to supporting families and individuals from all different backgrounds, developing community programs and partnerships at the local – state level. As the Senior Director of Community Impact and Development at Eliot CHS,Liliana oversees a couple of departments, including the Eliot Family Resource Center, RISE Program, Everett CFCE and LYNN CALM.
Liliana also provides support within other agency divisions, including the Community Behavioral Health Centers, homelessness prevention and more. Liliana holds a Master degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration on Marriage and Family. With her deep understanding of systems, and commitment for equity she continues to bridge gaps in services, opportunity for all.

LCTV contacted all candidates running for elected office with an offer to record a video talking directly to Lynn voters. Below is a compilation video of all the Ward Councilor candidate videos, with candidates in alphabetical order. Individual videos are linked in the candidate’s bio above.
Candidate Profiles will be airing on our Government Channel (Comcast: 22 / Verizon: 37) every day at ______AM, ______PM, & ______PM. They will air in groupings of candidates in order of Mayor, Councilor At-Large, Ward Councilor, & School Committee. If a city meeting that we broadcast live is scheduled, that meeting will play instead of these videos during the allotted time.
