Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) is a nonprofit organization that partners with communities nationwide to help under- represented individuals successfully start and grow a business through intensive business training, mentorship, and an extended professional support network.

Accelerator Mentors

Accelerator Mentors come from a variety of backgrounds and use their business and leadership experience to guide new entrepreneurs through the process of turning their idea into a growing business. Mentors work in teams of three and are matched with an entrepreneur based on schedule availability and desire to work together. The team meets as a group to help reaffirm topics and themes raised during classes, while also strategizing with the entrepreneur on how to reach their specific goals during the program. This is a high-touch year-long commitment. Mentor teams have 90-minute in-person meetings for 3 months and then meet once a month for the following 9 months.

Specialists / Office Hours

Specialists are highly knowledgeable in a particular field and lead a workshop-style session in the Accelerator Program guided by EforAll’s curriculum. Sessions are conducted on site with the Accelerator Cohort and EforAll staff and are between 1-2 hours.

In conjunction with the Accelerator Curriculum, entrepreneurs may need guided help with specific topics. This can be done through one-on-one or small group sessions with a specialist that is available for “office hours.”

Readers / Interviewers

One way that we are able to ensure fairness and balance among Pitch Contest and Accelerator applicants is by having individuals volunteer their time to review and score applications from entrepreneurs. Constructive feedback to early-stage entrepreneurs is critical to their growth and overall success. This is done remotely, time commitment is flexible, and offered several times per year. This is a great way to plug into the creative energy of the community. Interviewers are asked to help with in person screenings.

Judge

Business professionals and community leaders who attend Pitch Contests or Final Presentations during the Accelerator to score participants, ask questions, and provide feedback. This is a one night commitment and a great experience to hear from passionate early-stage entrepreneurs in the community.

Keynote Speaker

Speak at one of our events for about 15 to 20 minutes. Talk about entrepreneurship as a whole, your journey, challenges you’ve faced and how you overcame them as well as tips and words of encouragement to the entrepreneurs. This is a great way to share your story and motivate and inspire entrepreneurs.

Mentores que orientan e inspiran a los emprendedores

Los mentores del programa Acelerador de negocios provienen de distintos orígenes y utilizan su experiencia y liderazgo empresarial para guiar a nuevos emprendedores en el proceso de convertir sus ideas en un negocio en crecimiento. A cada uno de los mentores se le asigna un emprendedor teniendo en cuenta la disponibilidad horaria y el deseo de trabajar juntos. El equipo se reúne en línea como grupo para ayudar a reafirmar los temas y asuntos que se plantean durante las clases, al mismo tiempo que define con el emprendedor la estrategia para lograr sus objetivos específicos durante el programa. Este es un compromiso de un año que requiere de mucha interacción. Los equipos de mentores sostienen reuniones en línea de 90 minutos durante 3 meses y luego se reúnen una vez al mes durante los siguientes 9 meses.

Especialistas

Los expertos tienen un alto nivel de conocimiento en un campo particular y dirigen una sesión estilo taller en el programa Acelerador de negocios guiados por el plan de estudios de EparaTodos. Las sesiones se llevan a cabo en el sitio con el grupo del programa Acelerador de negocios y el personal de EparaTodos y duran entre 1 y 2 horas.

Lectores

Una forma en la que podemos garantizar imparcialidad y equilibrio entre los postulantes del Concurso para presentar tu idea y los postulantes del Acelerador de negocios es haciendo que las personas ofrezcan su tiempo de manera voluntaria para revisar y calificar las postulaciones de los emprendedores. La retroalimentación constructiva a los emprendedores en etapa inicial es fundamental para su crecimiento y éxito general. Esto se hace a distancia, la dedicación de tiempo es flexible y se ofrece varias veces al año. Esta es una gran manera de conectar con la energía creativa de la comunidad.

Jueces

Profesionales en negocios, empresarios y lideres en la comunidad quienes asisten a nuestros Concursos Lanza tu Idea o Presentaciones finales durante las evaluaciones de los participantes del Acelerador de Negocios. Los jueces hacen preguntas reflexivas y proveen aportes/comentarios enriquecedores para los emprendedores. Es un compromiso de una sola noche y una gran experiencia para escuchar de apasionados emprendedores que se encuentran es sus primeras etapas.
