2024 LHAND Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development (LHAND) believes its role is not only to provide quality and affordable housing, but also to play an active role in improving the quality of life for Lynn residents. We believe one of the most effective ways we can do this is to provide scholarships for students seeking higher education. Our scholarship foundation has been going strong since 1998 because of generous donations from individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits within the community.
This year’s scholarship fundraising event will be held in honor of Laurie Walsh, former Chairperson of LHAND Board of Commissioners and co-owner of John’s Oil. We have added a new application category to the program in Laurie’s name for students who wish to enter the business field. Laurie was an incredible community leader and businesswoman with a very big and generous heart. LHAND hopes to continue her legacy by creating more opportunities for hardworking students for many years to come!
The tournament will be held on Friday, September 13th. Check-in time for golfers is 2:30PM with dinner and reception beginning at 5:30PM. The available donation tiers are $100, $250, or $500.
