“Scars in Heaven” Campaign Kick-Off & Ribbon Display

From The Recovery Exchange: Spectrum Health Systems’ peer recovery center, The Recovery Exchange, is partnering with Adopt A Pole for the “Scars in Heaven” campaign, a statewide initiative honoring those lost to addiction.
The campaign launches with a ribbon pick-up event at Recovery on the Harbor in East Boston on Thursday, August 21 at 12:00 PM, followed by a ribbon hanging and candlelight vigil in Central Square, Lynn on Friday, August 29 at 7:30 PM. Participants and community members are invited to honor loved ones, reduce stigma, and support recovery.
Kim Patterson, Program Director at The Recovery Exchange, will be available to discuss the impact of peer recovery and public remembrance.
