Support the adoption of the
Housing Lynn plan!
Housing Lynn: A plan for inclusive growth reflects 15 months of community engagement and technical analysis. Through this process, the community helped produce a holistic plan for the future of Lynn’s housing, according to the following vision:
“Lynn’s housing will be safe, affordable, and accessible. New housing will meet the needs of Lynn residents and increase the strength and vibrancy of neighborhoods. Housing will enable everyone to thrive in a community that is inclusive to all.”
The draft plan underwent a robust public comment period last January, and the planning team made substantive changes to the plan in response to your input. The final draft (accessible here) was then sent to the City Council and Planning Board for adoption. We are working to get on their agendas.

The Lynn Housing Coalition—an independent group of Lynners advocating for creative, safe, and affordable housing—is supporting the Housing Lynn plan. You can join in their support by signing the Lynn Housing Coalition’s petition in favor of the plan’s adoption.

Housing Lynn es un plan para el crecimiento inclusivo que refleja 15 meses de análisis técnico y participación comunitaria. A través de este proceso, la comunidad ayudó a desarrollar un plan integral para el futuro de la vivienda en Lynn, bajo la siguiente visión:
“La vivienda en Lynn será segura, asequible y accesible. Las nuevas viviendas satisfarán las necesidades de los residentes de Lynn, y aumentarán la fortaleza y la vitalidad de los vecindarios. La vivienda en Lynn permitirá que todo el mundo prospere en una comunidad que sea inclusiva para todos”.
El borrador del plan se sometió a un sólido período de comentarios públicos en enero pasado, y el equipo de planificación hizo cambios sustanciales al plan en respuesta a estos comentarios. Luego el borrador final (accesible aquí) fue enviado al Concejo Municipal y a la Junta de Planificación para su adopción, y estamos trabajando para figurar en la agenda de cada una de estas entidades.
