Lynn Cultural Council Grant Applications Being Accepted Through October 15th

From the Lynn Cultural Council: The LCC is currently accepting applications for grants to fund projects/activities that support the cultural vitality of the community in the categories of the Sciences, Humanities, and Arts, as defined by the Mass Cultural Council (MCC). If you have an idea in the fields of Arts, Culture, Humanities please consider applying.

The Lynn Cultural Council gives out small grants, typically in the $250-$5,000 range, to Lynn residents and organizations outside the city who benefit Lynn residents. LCC gives preference to first-time applicants and tries to spread the money equitably.  The application process is relatively simple, with a few guidelines that must be followed.

These grants can be used for a broad range of projects and programs, such as operating support, ticket subsidies, field trips, artist residencies, public art, fellowships, community events/programs, site specific projects, and more. The Cultural Council looks favorably on applications that will benefit large groups or underrepresented populations.

Please note the application deadline is October 15, 2026

Grants are assessed and voted on by a volunteer based council of your peers.  Funds are awarded in early 2027 and the events need to be completed within 12 months.
