Mayor Nicholson tests positive for COVID-19
Mayor Jared C. Nicholson tested positive for COVID-19 Wednesday morning and has begun the CDC-recommended 5-day quarantine period. The mayor is asymptomatic and fully vaccinated and boosted.
While he expects to return to his office in City Hall next Tuesday, he is disappointed that he will be forced to miss this week’s high school graduations.
“Fortunately, I am feeling fine and will be working remotely during my quarantine period,” Nicholson said. “I am sorry that I am not able to share in the celebrations of our high school seniors and personally congratulate them on their achievements. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
