Nonprofit Sweet Sadie’s Difference Makers Seeking Donations

Robert MacIsaac, founder of local non-profit “Sweet Sadie’s Difference Makers”, recently sent out a call for donations. These donations support the non-profit throughout the year to provide scholarships for local students. Read more below:

For those of you that don’t know my name is Robert MacIsaac. I am the founder of the nonprofit Sweet Sadie’s Difference Makers. This nonprofit is in honor of my sister who passed away. We raise money for two $1,500 scholarships for people with disabilities. We also raise money to help research to cure the horrible diseases of ALS and Muscular Dystrophy. We have a 5K every year and a benefit concert every year. These two events help raise a lot of money and we are thankful for everyone who has donated.

This year has been a little different. We had our concert and we want to have our 5K. However, we are unsure when we will have these since our focus is on family right now. I am emailing today to raise money differently. This would be the original way we did when we first started the scholarship. We raised over $7,500 for the scholarships by word of mouth and sharing online. We will do that again now since we aren’t sure when the next event will be. Which I will keep you updated on. Let us start 2025 right and get our nonprofit running with full steam for this year. Then when we can we will plan the walk and the concert again. You can donate anything at all from $1 to $100 or more. Every cent counts and adds up. I would like to thank everyone in advance for their donations. We couldn’t do any of this without you.

I am doing my best to settle in here in New Orleans. I can’t wait to visit Boston and see all my friends again. However, I am glad to be here to help and be with my family. I have also started up my YouTube channel again. I do unboxes, card breaks, vlogs, and sports corners. I am now trying to get some interviews of sports or celebs on my channel.
