From the Lynn Public Library: The Lynn Public Library offers summer reading programs for all ages! Sponsored in part by the Friends of the Lynn Public Library, this year’s program will run from June 22nd – August 21st.

children

Parents, register your child for our Children’s Summer Reading Program. To register, visit the Children’s Department starting June 22nd and pick up your child’s summer reading log. For children age birth-kindergarten; read or listen to 10 books/log 10 hours of reading. Children in grades 1-5; read or listen to 5-10 books/log 20 hours of reading.

Once they’ve completed their log, contact the Lynn Public Library Children’s Department for fun prizes! Logs must be submitted to be eligible for prizes.

teens

Teens can enter to win all summer long by reading or listening to your favorite books, e-books, audiobooks, manga, graphic novels, web comics, podcasts, and fan fiction. Each hour you read/listen, counts as an entry towards winning a LEGO Botanicals Happy Plants set and a $25 Dunkin gift card.

Fill out an entry form for each hour you read/listen. For Lynn residents grades 6-12 only. Enter online here (starting June 22) or visit the library to pick up a paper form.

adults

Each time you check out books or audiobooks, you’ll receive a raffle ticket toward the grand prize. Do you prefer e-books and e-audio? Send us a screenshot of your Libby/Overdrive book shelf for your chance to win. Each unique screenshot counts as your raffle ticket!
