On March 17, 2026 Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development held their 28th annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon. Elected officials, city employees, and members of the community were present to honor (and roast) those in attendance and receiving recognition for their work within the city. Those who received awards were as follows:

Buzzy Barton, Jimmy Lyons, and Tom Muldoon “Irish” Person of the Year Award – Jim Cowdell
John Sullivan & Ralph Cronin  Community Service Award – Lenny Peña
Laurie Walsh Memorial Commissioner’s Service Award – Adelle Abdallah
Executive Director’s Service Award – Lisa Tobin
