The snow parking ban for the City of Lynn will be lifted at 6:00PM.  Anyone parking in the City's snow lots must remove their vehicles by 8:00pm, Saturday, February 7th before being subject to ticketing and towing.  Towed cars are located at 389 Blossom Street (Lynn Ferry Terminal Site). The Department of Public Works (DPW) will continue snow removal operations.

On Friday, September 13th Senator Elizabeth Warren was in Lynn celebrating the allocation of $1.65 million in federal funds for the expansion of the preschool on Bennett St. This includes adding 100 more seats, a cafeteria and outdoor play space bringing preschool seats to 50% more than two years ago. Mayor Nicholson, Superintendent Alvarez joined Senator Warren for the ceremony along with several local officials and school committee members.
