On February 9, 2023 the Essex Media Group presented their annual Persons of the Year to people who have made contributions to their communities. The 2022 honorees are as follows: Sanjay Aurora and Natasha Shah (Lynnfield), John Moloney (Lynn), EuRim Chun (Marblehead), Jennifer McCarthy (Nahant), Lola Busta (Peabody), Many Cruz (Salem), Katrina McNichol (Saugus), and Nick Meninno (Swampscott).
