Members of the North Shore Juneteenth Association joined us on this episode of the Lynn Lowdown to talk about upcoming events. First is their annual Black Excellence 5K happening on April 30th at 10am at Rolly’s Tavern. This 5K raises funds for NSJA while highlighting positive images of Black Americans along the route. After that on May 13th is the Hats & Heels Tea event happening at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem.
