This week on LCTV News we cover some of the big headlines of the past week including the Rainbow Pride Coalition releasing a statement, launch of the LUCE Immigrant Justice Network of MA, speed restrictions in place for the Lynn Ferry, and more big news from this past week. We also show recaps of the Khmer flag raising ceremony, 3rd anniversary of the Lynn Senior Center, and more from around Lynn.

This week on the Lynn Lowdown we welcomed on race coordinators to talk about the 2025 Shoe City Series. The Shoe City Series is back for their second year, and is a series of 5K races/walks held throughout the year around the city. Coordinators John Hogan (Turkey Trot 5K), Dan Dulong (LFD/LPD Family Day), & Richard Wall (Hibernian 5K) joined us to talk about their various races. Participants can run in one or all races, and each race’s medal can be combined with the others to create a giant medal. Each race raises money for the organizations running them, to assist with their missions to give back and serve the community.

The Lynn Hibernian 5K takes place in March, LFD/LPD Family Day 5K takes place in May, GLCC’s Clock to the Rock takes place in September, and the Stop The Violence’s Turkey Trot 5K takes place in November.
