This week on the LCTV News we reported on programs receiving millions from the FY24 state budget, Girls Inc offering college prep classes, Preliminary Election voting information, local sports, and more news from the week. We also show recaps of Final Fridays: Graffiti Getdown, Red Rock Concert series, LifeScene Family Fun Day, & more events from around the city. On the Lynn Lowdown we featured two interviews this week, with the Community Warmth Project & My Brother’s Table to discuss their fundraiser on August 18th. First we talked with the Community Warmth Project. whose mission to bring warmth and kindness to all. They talked with us about how they prepare for a “scarfbombing”, people can get involved, donate, and more.
