LCTV News | Celebrating Earth Day in Lynn (April 22, 2023)
Earth Day was this past Saturday, April 22nd and was celebrated in Lynn with a tree planting at Red Rock Park followed by clean-up on Lynn Common. The tree planted at Red Rock Park was one of 95 donated to the City of Lynn by Amundi, in honor of former Lynn resident and founder of Pioneer Fund Phillip Carret. The clean-up on Lynn Common was the first of a series organzied by The City of Lynn on Saturday mornings happening around the city. Most of these cleanups will happen from 9-11am and aim to combat the litter problem in Lynn. For upcoming clean-up dates please visit lynntv.org/series/park-clean-ups
