LCTV News Interview | Lynn Public Schools’ Cell Phone Policy | September 5, 2025

On this edition of the Lynn Lowdown we discuss the new cell phone and electronic devices policy for Lynn Public Schools. School Committee member and policy chair Eric Dugan and LPS Compliance Officer Charlie Gallo joined us to discuss these updated policies, which is in effect this school year. The main components are that phone use is now banned during lunch and in hallways, and will be enforced consistently across all schools. These updated policies are being implemented ahead of the statewide changes, allowing Lynn to be ahead of the curve.
