This week on the LCTV News we reported on the city’s new housing receivership program, the Concerned Citizens of Lynn Food Drive, a statement from the Lynn Police on recent overdoses, local sports, and more news from the week. We also show recaps of the community ferry ride, Lynn Woods July 4th parade, & more events from around the city.
On the Lynn Lowdown we featured two interviews this week, with the Lynn Music Foundation about events/programs & Senator Brendan Crighton about transportation.
State Senator Brendan Crighton joined Dani on the first edition of the Lowdown to discuss the Sumner Tunnel Mitigation Plan, the return of Lynn’s ferry, and more. Senator Crighton currently serves as the Chairperson of the Joint Committee on Transportation.
Edwin Cabrera of the Lynn Music Foundation joined us to discuss the Lynn Hip Hop Wall of Fame, collaborating with local artists, connecting them with resources, and more. The LMF also holds events in the Neal Rantoul Vault Theater within LynnArts such as stand up comedy nights and musical performances (which are added to LynnTV.org/events).
