NSCC NOW: Karyn King Fargo & Kaley Bates | February 13, 2023
Internships are an part of the college experience, and at North Shore Community College students are able to participate in a 120-hour internship experience over a semester, typically 10-15 hours per week, in a work environment related to their program of study and career goals. Karyn King Fargo is the Experimental and Internship Coordinator at NSCC and in this show, talks to us about the process of obtaining a semester-long internship. Joining her is Kaley Bates, who participated in an internship program to talk about her first-hand experience in the process.
