NSCC NOW: Prof. Barbara Heath | November 7, 2022
NSCC NOW is a program dedicated to spotlighting various persons from the college, including academic professors, programs and support services. Dulce Gonzalez, Community Liaison for Strategic Partnerships is the host for the program. For the first episode, the guest speaker was Baraba Heath, who is the coordinator for the Horticulture Program at North Shore Community College. Barbara presented the benefits of taking this career pathway and more information on how students could be a part of the program. She discussed various job opportunities, salary and wages for prospective students and also discussed some new extensions of the program’s course such as the cannabis field.
