2021 Black Excellence 5K being held in person | June 10, 2021

We are so excited to announce that on August 14th 2021 at 11AM (rain or shine)

we will be launching The Black Excellence 5k LIVE.

We would like to send a special shout to all of you who supported the event virtually last year, and we hope that you too are excited about coming together to make this happen LIVE and in real time.

As in years past, Rolly’s Tavern located at 338 Broadway in Lynn will be hosting the run. Dana Cox aka The Mighty Cosmic D will be our Live DJ.

We will be setting up the registration tent and DJ station in the municipal parking area near the rear of the Tavern. There will be prizes for the first Male and Female race participants.

“Each year this run brings the community together to support North Shore Juneteenth Association Inc. Proceeds from this 5k fundraiser strengthen our organization and ensure that we are able to achieve our mission to create awareness about the Juneteenth holiday, educate the broader community about positive aspects of African American culture, and dismantle racism by using events and programming as a tool for change.
