
From Minton Regan Homes: Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, food, and gratitude. Many Lynn families welcome assistance in preparing their holiday meals.
Can you fill a Blessing Basket or two?
Minton Regan Homes with support from the community and Ward Councilors Coco Alinsug and Natasha Megie-Maddrey, Brotherhood Credit Union, Tesoro Food Distributors and Stop and Compare Market will provide Thanksgiving meals to families at Aborn, Brickett, Cobbet, Harrington & Hood Elementary Schools! Baskets will be distributed to students at these schools, with social workers and guidance councilors working to identify families in need.
Blessing Basket Shopping List Suggestions
- Laundry Basket to hold the items (no bags please)
- $20 Gift certificate for Turkey or Meat (if you wish)
- Stuffing Mix
- Turkey Gravy
- Instant Mashed Potatoes
- Cans of Corn, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Pumpkin, Cranberry Sauce
- Cornbread, Muffin/Biscuit or Gingerbread Mix
- Cake or Brownie Mix
- Cake Frosting (Can or Mix)
- Extras if you are inclined – Pet Food, Socks, Toys, Toiletries, Games, Laundry Detergent, etc.
