Alert from the Lynn Police Department

We have received several reports regarding thefts of catalytic converters in the past week. The suspect(s) targeted Toyota Prius vehicles that were parked in residential parking lots during the early morning hours.

Owners of these vehicles are advised to park in well-lit areas and residents are asked to call the Lynn Police Dept. to report any suspicious activity.

From Mayor McGee’s office: The Lynn Public Health Department has confirmed that as of today, the number of active, confirmed positive COVID-19 cases is 1,266 with 67 new cases today. 6,304 Lynn residents have recovered and 134 have died. The total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Lynn since March 21, 2020, including those who have died and recovered, is 7,704.
