LCTV News | 2022 Juneteenth Flag Raising (June 7, 2022)
On June 7th the Juneteenth flag was raised in a ceremony at Lynn City Hall. Organized by the North shore Juneteenth Association, this event featured speakers and performances before the flag was raised next to city hall. Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans, as well as celebrating African-American culture.
